Two photographs, eighty years apart. On the left, my father's parents on their wedding day. On the right, my mother's seventieth. Between them, a family grew. Looking after what a family gathers along the way, and deciding what happens to it, is what we do.
I still remember finding an old photograph of my father's parents on their wedding day. It stopped me in my tracks.
In recent years I have lost my mum, my dad and my sister. What remains are memories — fragile, precious, deeply personal.
